I had a cat who would try to eat tinsel. Knowing what it does to their digestive tracts, I'm not willing to sacrifice their health. So I'll just have to enjoy looking at it on others'. :)Hilaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12787493532006658679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1091482938936227290.post-11157650994575345952009-12-07T13:53:17.550-06:002009-12-07T13:53:17.550-06:00I still put tinsel on my Christmas tree and don...I still put tinsel on my Christmas tree and don't think trees look finished until its on. And yes I put it on one strand or maybe two at a time. :-)happyonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14186179870233267082noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1091482938936227290.post-75163634439198223012009-12-07T09:03:33.110-06:002009-12-07T09:03:33.110-06:00As a child, I loved decorating the Christmas tree....As a child, I loved decorating the Christmas tree. We didn't use bubble lights, but we did use tinsel and lots of pretty ornaments. Sometimes I buy small living trees now and after Christmas I plant them outside. But that's all because of my cats. They would climb the tree and eat the tinsel. :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1091482938936227290.post-84723787938428321152009-12-07T04:05:38.634-06:002009-12-07T04:05:38.634-06:00I don't remember Bubble Lights, but I do recal...I don't remember Bubble Lights, but I do recall tinsel. We don't use it anymore but that's because we don't want to have any vet bills from cats ingesting too much tinsel (and string and ribbon).

We had those huge lights on our tree that actually got hot and probably belonged outside.Pop and Icehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09293232401852452071noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1091482938936227290.post-19745334812958575322009-12-06T22:02:57.747-06:002009-12-06T22:02:57.747-06:00I love tinsel. ...I love tinsel. Gosh, can you still even buy it?

When I was a little girl, I used to iron the tinsel, because I didn't like it being all wrinkly. OCD anyone?

To me, a tree just isn't finished without tinsel on it, and a wonderful angel on the top.Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03382221688268676914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1091482938936227290.post-56441895022330172432009-12-06T20:58:16.227-06:002009-12-06T20:58:16.227-06:00Love the old bubble lights!
