Sundown

Sundown came early tonight. An hour early.

The clouds were as spectacular as the sunset.

Watching the sun go down, I enjoyed the quiet. Sometimes quiet is the best sound of all.

After we came inside, Bailey, my dog, made his world famous Chicken Kiev. It sort of tasted like ... dog food! Oh well...

Wow.. some beautiful colours in that Iowa sky. :)

I'll bet Bailey enjoyed dinner despite your opinion. ;)

Pretty, and you're right, silence is a beautiful sound.

Beautiful sunset---low ceiling there. Did you share dinner with Bailey? MB

Me again.

BTW: What did you do about the 'pink dogs'? MB

MB,

Heh! The pink dogs were given back to the place from which they came! I am sure they will find a good home!

Russell, you have captured a lovely peaceful sunset. I have to agree with you about peace and quite. It calms the soul.

Chicken Kiev dogfood? That dog of yours is too funny.

Hi Russell, I stopped by because Jo, Majority of Two, thought I might like your blog, which I do! Beautiful sunsets. It reminds me of the sunsets we had in Minneapolis when we lived there. Have a great day, and I'll stop back soon!

Indeed sometimes quiet is the best sound of all.

Omigoodness, look at that beautiful salamander sky! We don't see those very often here, next to the mountains.

Will Bailey give me his recipe for dog food ... um ... I mean chicken Kiev?

And yes, quiet is my favorite sound too.
