It was a nice day outside so I took a break to walk around where I work. Walking around I saw a few things I had not noticed before. Here's a yellow fire hydrant. I like the chains that hang from it.
You can see the signs of age on the chain.
Here are some tulips. I like the way they bend.
You can see the wild purple violets growing around these tulips.
You can hear this water as it goes over the stones.
These are cherry blossoms.
This little cardinal was sitting on a light.
I looked up and saw pinecones on a tree.
I liked this bicycle. The green and orange really make it stand out.
The rear tire and spokes are interesting.
Some times the best things in life are ... simple.
Thanks for stopping by.

Wonderful pictures. Glad you shared them. Yes, the simple things in life are often the best.
I like this post a lot! I love your photographic eye! Those simple shots are just great. Thanks for sharing them.
Life and living and change.
You got the picture lol
Have a great day!
That little red cardinal is beautiful. We don't have them here in Vancouver, so it's unusual to see. You have a great eye for photography.
(That deleted post above was me. It posted twice..)
We could have easily taken this walk together. You tend to have the eye for the kind of subjects I like. I especially like your bendy tulips. I suspect they were leaning away to escape Bailey's special watering technique. ;)
isn't it amazing what we see when we take the time to notice? Great post :)
